Exactly Why Exercise is Good for the Brain

For all of those gentle readers who are tired of reading that exercise is good for the brain bla bla bla, now comes an interview with someone who can actually tell us why exercise is good for the brain. The L.A. Times talks with Harvard professor John Ratey, whose book, "Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain," was published in January by Little, Brown.
Three things Geezer came away with:
1. Exercise can delay cognitive decline by as much as ten years.
2. Exercise is a good treatment for ADHD.
3. It's better to exercise with someone than to exercise alone.
